The role of an Accident prevention, health and safety manager at SUEZ consists of initiating, leading, supervising and evaluating the accident prevention, health and safety policy within the group or the BU in accordance with the general strategy of the company and the stakes, limitations or external pressure.

Main activities
Manages the accident prevention, health and safety policy
Safety
- Maintains and develops the quality and environmental management system
- Coordinates a network of correspondents spread out over different sites
- Organizes the monitoring of indicators and the management system, recommending areas for improvement
- Assesses and manages risks associated with activities within his or her scope of responsibility and implements preventive and curative solutions
Safety
- Checks that accident prevention, health and safety management requirements are established, implemented and monitored
- Defines the safety measures for different activities and ensures that they are implemented (audits, training)
- Assists and advises branch managers and operators
- Chairs the health, safety and working conditions committee
characteristics
The level of managerial and legal responsibility varies depending on the size and structure of the organization. The size of subsidiaries can vary from 300 to 3,000 people

Profile
Required experience
Baccalaureate, plus 4 or 5 years at business school, university or studying general engineering
Risk management and audit/internal control methods, knowledge of the regulations and of ISO standards
